Through our Zenith and Nadir

We’ve been epoxied to each other

Arms entwined, exuberance we garnered

When together about nothing we’d bother.

Those kaleidoscopic days of childhood

When the wispy clouds whistled a blissful song

Inundating every nook of our ebullient hearts

In the viridian meadows, our friendship grew strong.

Even now, we tend to decipher each other’s unvoiced emotions

Sans judgement, overcoming the hideous trammels

We fasten our loose emotions while aligning those bifurcated sentiments

Drenched in the showers of love and friendship, celebrating life with my jewels.
