She yearns to breathe the free ‘n unmasked air
Alas! All she receives is shackles and fetters everywhere.
Amidst the cacophony and the glum
Exquisite lives are obliterated
Hopes ‘n dreams are incarcerated
Happiness ‘n exuberance is incinerated.
Her gaping wounds ‘n the scaling scars
Continues to expand sans any bars
Ain’t we culpable for her distress and her jeopardy
When all she bestowed upon us
Was pristine air and unadulterated love
Garnished by her verdant greens.
Her radiant sun, warmed our souls
Her endless expanse of azure waters
Calmed our senses, nurtured our souls
Bathing us with serenity and healing power
But still we chose to celebrate her discomfort
Turning a deaf ear at her melancholic wails.
Her children have stabbed her time and again
She was incredibly stoic to gulp down all her pain.
Yet she managed to camouflage her sufferings
For the sake of her children and their wellbeing.
Now that her children are locked down
Her verdant greens have started to thrive, donning their prettiest gown
Those briny waters too, rejoiced with glee
Dancing ‘n prancing with sheer freedom.
Oh Mother Nature, I bow to thee
To you, we are grateful now and forever shall be
Nestled in your arms are our dreams
You are our Mother, our source of alchemy!
I’m impressed, I have to state. Really seldom do I come across a blog site that’s both educative as well as amusing, and also let me inform you, you have hit the nail on the head. Your idea is outstanding; the issue is something that not nearly enough people are talking intelligently around. I am extremely delighted that I stumbled across this in my search for something associating with this. Ernesta Bran Rind
