My mind perches on window sill of utopian imaginations

With a book in hand, I plunge into a halcyon world

Where alphabets shine on, paving a new path.

I let my mind fill up with surreal glee

‘midst shimmering and luminescent thoughts

I peregrinate over the unchartered territories.

Every time I tread the pearly worded realms

I allow myself to bask in the rays of fantasy

Taking a moment to recalibrate my placid thoughts

I create my moment of absolute ipseity.

Every time I tread the pearly worded realms

With each page, the magic tends to deepen

Like the vernal freshness of luscious blooms

Sprinkling ambrosial fragrance, with its omniscient wand.
